Weeks 18, 19, 20 in the library

HAPPY SCHOOL HOLIDAYZ, ULEI JSS LIBRARY!

Book Borrowed Most Often: The Gizmo, Paul Jennings

Book Most Complained About: Artemis Fowl, Eoin Colfer (“I don’t get it!”, “It’s Boring!”, Etc)

Book Most Argued Over: Chris Brown, a junior biography (“Give it back! It’s my turn!”, “You can’t keep it!”, Etc)

Book Most Thumbed: Encyclopedia of Rock (falls open to Roxy Music!?!)

Top 3 Research Topics Across All Year Levels (topics students chose when given free choice):
1. Marijuana
2. Soccer
3. Butterflies

Unexpected Favourite: Vampire Diaries (beats Twilight and Harry Potter)

Biggest Reader: Celine. Has read 26 books since April. Often says: “Can you choose a book for me? I’ll pick it up at the end of the period!”. Prefers romance over fantasy.

What the rats ate this week: Dental floss. (After all, a rat must maintain healthy chompers!)

Reference question of the week: How do people in magazines get so smooth? Are they born without hair on their bodies? (Another student responded to this one: “They got a special cream for that!”)

Excuse my ignorance but who's Chris Brown?
and Butterflies?
I have a rodent story too. Was buying coffee at Melb Central food hall (up stairs one) on Sat and suddenly caught sight of a mouse running at me. My god those things run fast! Did I mention the Food Hall part?
